Product description
This 32cm hammered texture pure iron wok is designed for high-heat stir-frying over gas or open flame. The wok body is made from high-purity iron and features a hammered physical texture that creates an air isolation layer for physical non-stick performance without any chemical coating. It is safe to use with metal spatulas and steel wool, and will not suffer from coating peeling under high temperatures. The iron body conducts heat quickly and evenly, helping to produce restaurant-style wok hei during high-heat stir-frying, while the strong construction resists deformation over long-term use. The set includes the wok body and a tempered glass lid with metal edging. The lid is heat-resistant and shatter-resistant, allowing cooking progress to be checked without opening the lid, and it is fitted with a solid wood top knob for comfortable handling. The handle is made from solid wood for heat insulation and is secured with three rivets. A hanging ring at the end of the handle allows the wok to be hung for drying and space-saving storage. The total wok body weight is 2.1kg, balanced for easy tossing even with one hand. This wok is suitable for gas stoves and open-flame cooking only. New woks should be seasoned before first use to achieve better non-stick results. After use, wash, dry over low heat, and apply a thin layer of cooking oil to help prevent rust. Avoid storing soup, salted foods, or acidic foods in the wok for long periods. If light rust appears, clean with steel wool, dry, and oil the surface before continuing to use.
